hi all,

so after doing direct consular filing through tokyo, and going through the interviews and waiting processes, and getting the visa, I have finally arrived in America with my visa in hand and stamped. What is it that I am supposed to do now once I am in America? (by the way, I have been married less than 2 years). Is there already a conversation topic on this? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

You should get a welcome letter in the mail. You can also track your green card production and mailing on the USCIS website, the same that you tracked your case from before.

As for now, be a good resident, don't cause any troubles, don't vote, and remove conditions in just under 2 years

In the best of worlds it should come in the mail, but if you haven't gotten anything in 3 weeks it's advisable to go and apply for one in person, just to make sure they didn't miss it.
