So it's whining when you object to someone else saying you give out blow jobs? I think you'll find that the very few times I have gone on the offensive it has been when I have been severely provoked. I am not a serial reporter of posts. I very nearly did not report that one until I privately mentioned it to others, who convinced me it was beyond the pale. I don't like to provoke the mods, especially in OT.

You seem to have a quick wit and the ability to deal with it. Why would you ask for others advice? Half the fvckheads in OT are mental defectives anyway.

Thank you for the compliment. I asked others' advice because I felt uneasy about the comment, and whether I was being oversensitive or not to find it unsavoury -- I wasn't sure that I wanted to let it stand posted, but I also didn't want to come off as particularly priggish if it were unwarranted. Before involving any mod action, I asked the advice of a few people (who were NOT OT regulars) whether they thought it was OTT. I listened and synthesised it with my own thoughts, and in the end decided to report.

As I said, I don't like to get the mods involved where it's not necessary. This is particularly the case where it's a thread where I'm involved in any meaningful (as if that word even applies to anything in OT) way. If I see a thread in the upper forums where someone's getting bullied or acting like a tosspot, I will not hesitate to take action. But in OT I think you need to be able to roll with the punches, which I think I do for the most part. Still, there are some times when things go from mere give-and-take and gutterish sniping to vitriol. (One time, I was told that US/UK/Canadian/Australian/Irish women were all rabid dogs that were best kicked into the gutter and run over by a bus. Yeah, I reported that one.) Those are the times I will do something, but for the most part, I can play just fine with the boys.

Edit: I forgot to add that British women were also on the list of women who were dogs -- how could I forget?

For me I have only reported one person in the 5 years Ive been here. I get called every name in the book. When that happens it most likely means that youve said something that has touched them in a way that carries some truth.

There are cliques of all types here. There are the self absorbed insecure types that constantly try to show how smart they are.

There are the types that just want to have fun.

Left and right leaning individuals and everything in between. When blended all together you get one big happy dysfunctional family.After all most of the peeps in OT have been here a long time.
