Some are better than others, you definitely need to try one in a different area!

I'm nearly always bombarded with happy welcomes when I go in there and never had food I was unhappy with and most of them the coffee is really good.

I would not use their bathrooms unless I absolutely had to, though.

Yum I love Arby's, too! Same reasons. :) I LOVE the sauce and must put extra, extra on my sandwich. Love the curly fries, too.

I also like a Chicken McNugget now and then.

I love Arby's...something about their sauce and that processed meat is delicious to me. Yes, I'm probably insane, so sue me - I also love their cherry turnovers. Yummo!

Our Waffle Houses in Tallahassee are awesome! But, this is the South and our waitresses are normally pretty kind. I can be anyone's darlin' for an hour. :hehe: I love a good extra crispy waffle with lots of syrup and butter. Their coffee is always delicious. And I love my hashbrowns scattered, covered and chunked. ;)

Val - there was an A&W in this mall in LA. my friend decided to take me to Crenshaw because she thought it was hilarious to bring me there. it wasn't scary

When I first got here, hubby told me he hated A&W. I thought a divorce was in my future. He took me to one, anyway. It was AWFUL. I can't even describe the horribleness of the experience, and I have blocked much of it. I will take him to one in November when we go to SK and he can see why I was raving about them being so good.

you didn't get the point of the thread :crying:

you should have told us you love the tuna sandwich from subway

My bad! I did miss the point. Well, I'm not a fan of fast food. That's not to say I don't eat fast food now and then. Over the last few months, I tried 6 or 7 different fast food places. Subway was by far the cleanest and healtiest.

The WH I went to was in the south too. But it was awful. I can't remember if it was in southern VA or in NC, all I recall is I got off I-85 to eat there.

I like Panera and Au Bon Pain, but I'm not sure those really count!

As for "bad" fast food, I think Sonic milkshakes are pretty awesome.

I just ate at Sonic the other day for the first time. All 4 of us split a double cheeseburger, chocolate shake and mozzarella sticks. It's a bit odd sitting in your car and watching the servers walk back and forth to your car, but the food was tasty.

I do not contribute to the unnecessary death of animals.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Like Jenn! I love Panera, but I don't go there so often so it is more like a treat, and probably not really classified as fast food.

I have a guilty secret in the McD's double quarter pounder, and the KFC double down runs it a close second. Neither of I take too often. I do. however, love McD's coffee. I get one every morning for my drive from Tampa to Orlando, and for just over $1, I haven't found a better coffee yet, for the price.
