Pretty much any Mexican place that's considered fast is gross. That includes all the taco trucks. I'm sorry I don't want to be served by a sweaty person, even if they're brown.

whenever im on a road trip my heart flutters when i see the yellow arches. affordable, predictable and guaranteed to not make me take an extra bathroom break an hour later.

That is seriously the reason why we only eat McDonalds or Taco Bell because they are the only two places, within a fairly wide distance of here that won't come back to make us miserable. When I used to visit DH, Wendy's used to be absolutely delicious. Now it's always cold and nasty.

Making the food quality so bad might be the only way to force America away from fast food lol

Now I want some warm fries :(

yeah i have a strange digestive system. it seems to love mcd but barfs on waffle house or hardees (actual examples from a recent road trip). so i stick to mcd when possible. my wife makes it tough, cuz she loves subway on road trips. subway just makes me hungry again a half hour later (in my mind, I know).

I love Arby's...something about their sauce and that processed meat is delicious to me. Yes, I'm probably insane, so sue me - I also love their cherry turnovers. Yummo!

You can't...do...waffle house!?! That right there is beyond tragic.

Subway is pretty good but since I make my own now I save my occasional lazy/convenience/trip food for McDonalds. Waffle House is only the occasional treat because I would just be friggin' huge if I went there whenever I wanted.

I love quarter pounders and sausage mcmuffins from McD's, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE A&W - in Canada only. The ones here are f'ing disgusting, but they are manna from heaven in Canada. The Teen Burger. The Mozza Burger. The onion rings, deep fried battered goodness. Their fries suck, but only McD's has decent fries anymore.

God I need a trip home. crying.gif

I've been to waffle house once. It was somewhere on I85. It was terrible. Service without a smile, substandard food, filthy mens room and made me sick too.

Oooohhhhh, I forgot about Fuddruckers. I classify it more as a prompt service, though, somewhere between a real restaurant and a QSR.

most fast food makes me sick so I don't even try anymore. if I have to get something quick I get a veggie delight from subway or a plain grilled chicken sandwich from a local place near me. I just can't eat anything greasy without getting very ill.
