Visa interview went great today, and we got APPROVED!!!!!! We can pick-up the passport and visa next Tuesday.........will post all the interview details.

-NOA 1 Receipt date: 3/1/10 (sent 2/18/10)

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

Congratz.. What did you bring to your interview? :star:

We didn't really have much to bring. The only thing that they asked for was a letter from my daughter's father permitting her to leave the country, my sister explained that we don't know his whereabouts to get that and they were OK with it. My daughter's birth certificate only has my name on it so they just asked my daughter if he knew him and she said NO (which is the truth), and they said OK.

They asked when I came to the US. How many kids I have. What I did for a living. Then they asked my daughter if she spoke with her stepdad, she told them she did on the phone. They asked what she talked to him about, my daughter just told them the weather, toys, school, friends, I guess whatever came to her mind, and they said OK. They asked what her stepdad did for a living my daughter didn't know, (forgot to go over that with her), they asked my sister the same question and she also didn't remember (OOPS) but it was not a big deal I guess because they moved on from that. The interview was very brief and casual, they were in and out in no time :blink: .

Congratulations gurububba!! :) Did your sister tell you exactly how long it will take for her passport to come? Generally its two weeks..we wanted to make travel plans so i was just wondering if they tell you a specific time or is it a general

'couple of weeks'??
