So happy for you. Did you just call NVC to ask for your interview date or you just waited for that e-mail? Hope we are next :)

I called the NVC first but unfortunately they already forwarded it to the US Embassy Manila dated AUgust 10, 2010. so they are not the one who assigned my interview date because my husband requested to expedite our case.... We waited for the email....

Hi guys,

I have to kick myself out of this forum...Although we had an interview scheduled for September 2, we are rescheduling for October. Just not enough time to get the medical and all completed before the original date. Not sure what the new date is as I have to wait till after September 15 to request the new date. I think I am the only person on here with a spouse/fiance..etc who wants this process to take longer. Oh well..POE won't be till at least December anyways..Good luck to everyone else though!

We are in the same situation as you. We'd like a late October interview for it conflicts with other already scheduled events in our lives. Let me know how it goes for you.

Thanks to all of you.. I am just worried for my medical.... But I know God will take care of it....

My daughter had her medical last Wednesday, it went well except that the doctor heard some murring in her heart and referred her to a Cardiologist. So on Friday she went back to the doctor for the TB test reading which went well and to the Cardiologist, who didn't hear anything unusual in her heart. So they are supposed to go back tomorrow to pick-up the medical results. So if anyone is gonna go to the medical in South Africa for a child prepare to go to the doctor's office 3 times. First day, vaccinations and exam. Second day, TB test reading. Third day, pick-up results. Hope that can help someone.

medicals are not a big deal.

you can now have HIV and still enter the USA.

they are only seeing if you have...um,...some other infectious killer disease??

it's just a base physical so no worries!!!
