Hi guys!

I am a little concerned and need your advice. I received a letter on June7th stating that my I-130,I765 and I485 applications had been received. I havent heard anything since. Its been 7 weeks! Has this happened to any of you???? I just really need to gain patience i suppose. Its just hard to hear others getting their stuff so much faster. Like a friend of mine has already done her biometrics and has her GC interview Aug 30th?!

My Journey

1999- Came on an F1 Visa attended school in NYC.

2003- Fell out of status but remained in NYC.

2006- Travelled from NYC to Atlanta

08.25.06- Fell in love.

01.18.08- Got married.

04.25.08- Had our son :)

06.07.10-Received hardcopy NOA's for 130,485 and 765.

07.22.10-Called 1800# to inquire about Biometrics.

08.26.10-Went to Infopass to inquire about Biometrics.

08.26.10-Received manual appt letter for Biometrics dated 9.13.10 @1PM

09.01.10-Successfully did Biometrics walk-in Atlanta office.

09.01.10-I765 Card/document production.

09.10.10-Received EAD in the mail!!! Happy day for me :)

09.13.10-Apply for Social Security Card

09.24.10-Received GC interview date of 10.28.10

Yes it happens to some people. Nothing to worry. By the way online status is pretty much useless atleast for me it was.

Hi Serenaty,

Sorry to hear about your lack of progress. Have you received anything? I suggest you come and join us over on the June filers board. On adv. search, search june 2010 filers and pick the thread that is AOSing. Introduce yourself over there and someone may have better advice for you. I filed a month ago and they did send my noa's and one touch, but still not biometrics. Seems like most everyone in the June group has gotten their biometrics letter, except a couple of us.

Did you sign into the USCIG.gov and open an account? You can do that and enter your case numbers from the original notice you got and then check the date that is listed next to each application. When you hear people say they were "touched" that is what they will be talking about. The date the USCIS inputed that someone has touched (been working on) your file. Maybe there are some updates for you on there.

07/07/10 Received 7 texts & emails for NOAs

07/08/10 Check cashed for I-485

07/09/10 Check cashed for I-130

07/12/10 Received hardcopy NOA's for I-130, I-485, I-131 & I-765

07/23/10 Touched I-130, I-131, I-765

07/30/10 Visit Congressman's office to ask for help expedating EAD

08/10/10 Service Request through uscis for biometrics sent (told to wait 30 days)

08/14/10 Received Biometrics Appt for Sept 7

08/17/10 Failed walk-in Biometrics at Chula Vista. Very busy, advised to try San Marcos office

08/17/10 Successful walk-in Biometrics at San Marcos Office

08/17/10 First touch ever on I-485 and EAD touched

08/24/10 Touched and e-mail EAD and AP approved

08/31/10 AP arrived

09/03/10 EAD and Interview letter (10/09) arrived
