Ok here is a confusing situation..Orginal 485 denied because we missed sending in a Schedule C with our 864..Fine..I submit a I-290b explaining why the schedule c was missing and include a copy. The 485 was for my daughter and my husband is the USC..We complete the 290B and my husband completes the form in his name and signs it..We get a receipt saying they rec'd it and cashed our check for $585..I get reading on here and realize that the 290B should have been completed and signed by my daughter cause she is now 18 and considered the applicant..

Today I get a letter from USIC saying that they have reveiwed our motion and have agreed to reopen the 485 application and will give us a decision shortly. As luck would have it today before I got the letter I resent a 290B motion to reopen correctly completed and signed by my daughter

Any chance they will still reject the original 290B even tho they said in todays letter they have agreed to reopen the 485??

Why can't these people make up their minds as to what they want???

By the way there is nothing on the website showing that they have agreed to reopen just that they recd the 290B and it is under intial review
