I was wondering if me being in the military in will help my case or hurt it? I can not possibly leave the country until 2010. I hope that this fact will help because I know a lot of service members that are married to foreign women however I have never heard of any women married to foreign men. I do not want to start inquiring becuase I do not want the whole world involved so please let me know if anybody knows anything. My fiance is in Morocco.

I may be way off base, but I would think it wouldn't weigh any more or any less then any other career. Did you satisfy the requirement of meeting in person? If so, I don't think it will cause you any problems. I'm no expert, just my 2 cents.

I agree, I do not think your military status would hurt or help your K1 visa case. Are you stationed in the Middle East? If so, why not file for the K3 visa?

No I am stationed in the USA, yes we meet and I was just wondering becuase I know a lot of people that are married to foreign women, so I figured maybe they received things a little faster. As of right now I know that the income requirements are less but other than that that is it. I am wondering to the fact that I can not leave the united states, would help that is all. Thanks for the input.
