There is no determinate time for completion of Administrative Reviews. There must have been some kind of a "Hit" on your names or some other flag that caused the long review.

Hope that it is cleared soon and that you get on to the embassy

Hi Atlanta, I don't know if the process for Phillipines is the same as for China. My case was forwarded to the US Consulate/Embassy on April 16 this year and currentlyit is still in the name/security check stage. The people at DOS does not use the term administrative review but says the file is still in the name check process. I don't know if name check and administrative review means the same thing. The name check is perfomed by the FBI and they don't give an update. When the process is done FBI sents the result to DOS. This is why when you call DOS they can't tell you where in the process it is because they don't even know. It sucks but unfortunately there is nothing that can be done. Just got to have patience and hope no one in the FBI database has the same name as your SO with a criminal record. I just keep crossing my fingers. I am afraid it can't be uncrossed anymore.

We did called to Department, but they have not told how long it can

take even approximately. That`s why I asked on the forum if anybody

had or has been having the same waiting for Administrative checking would be over .

there is no time frame.

can take 17 days to 2 years.

I have been on it

well ove .. 11 1/2 months :(

It`s a pity ! Maybe in your case one of other reasons for so long

administrative review is the country of your spouse .

Have been calling to department of Stats?

I myself from Russia.I miss my Husband very much and it `s so difficult to wait so long time

and to live a part. :crying::crying::crying:

Today is 14 months since we have sent our documents for the visas process.

When I called DOS about my case, they said it takes 90 days minimum to complete the clearance check. Hope this helps, and good luck.
