Yes, you need to send employment letter. What I mean is State tax record is not needed for I-864, Federal tax transcripts are enough.

Are you from Gujrat? They have PCC problems, as far as I know.

I am from a different state and we didn't have any issues in the past. From the SP office, we got the clearance in 3 to 4 days time (we knew the person in the SP office) and from the Passport Office, we got it on the same day.

Yep, the good old buddy system (& some green Gandhi paper) works there much faster than straight route.

Glad that you didn't had to go through the hassle.

I wonder if I will get an rfe considering I put my total savings and checking balance as the balance in both my us and foreign bank account.

Since they check the bank balance. Is that confirmed.

If you qualify to sponsor just based on your primary income, don't worry about all those small things.

07/02/2012 - VFS visit in Cochin

07/04/2012 - Medical in Chennai

07/12/2012 - Interview in Mumbai - Success!

09/08/2012 - POE at JFK, NY
