Hi,

Please tell me how many pay stubs do i (petitioner) needs to provide along with my I-864.

Also, my dad is a joint sponsor. Does he needs to provide the copy of his paystubs. He is already providing last 2 years tax return and the most recent W-2.

If I were you, I would have submitted the copies of all the paystubs of the current year.

Technically you are not required to submit any pay stubs, but they are one of the best ways to prove that you (or the sponsor) is currently making enough money to support the household size listed on the 864 form.

You just need photocopies of the pay stubs and can save the originals for the interview. You can submit several months or 6 months or more if you want - but you should make sure that the pay stubs indicate the Year-to-Date income as that will be something they will use to satisfy the poverty threshold requirement.
