I need to get a one way ticket from SGN to USA. I have checked prices online. I want to compare prices with brick and mortar travel agencies in Saigon. Does anyone know or recommend a travel agency? I tried googling it but all that came up was travel agencies offering tours in VN. Thanks guys.

look at RT prices as well.. they can be cheaper that way sometimes.. also call the airlines direct and ask for the best price.. take some time and compare and you will find a good deal... there are a great many VN travel agencies around the country.. some were mentioned in a recent inquiry similar to yours in the VN regional... there have also been other discussions on it...

Try calling Korean Airline or All Nippon Airline. Korean Airline is cheaper though.

Delta is often cheaper than KA but not as good of service..

I actually had great experiences travelling with Korean Airlines! :P

Another carrier I'd recommend is Singapore Air (1st choice) if I ever go back!!! :)

Eva or china is cool, the food is awesome, dont do Korean, the Wait time is horrible, if you love your significant others, dont buy korean haha.

Anyone that recommend KOREAN Air Don't know any better than the average HOMOERECTUS

What with the ###### insult? I flew on Korean airline just last December. The service is great and the food is fantastic.

Singapore is good too but it is more expensive than Korean. BTW, I am flying with ANA this September. I am paying $1250 round trip, so I assume it cost around $600 for one way ticket with ANA.

Agreed! I have flown KA dozens of times and they have some of the best service when it comes to airlines... awesome food too :thumbs: and the open bar isnt bad as well if one wants a few drinks...

KA is good, but the only problem is waiting time it too long. NOT very good for your SO.

I've been very fortunate as far as pricing with both Korean Air and Singapore Air....except for the first trip which we paid 1200 in december (Korean), the other three trips ran between 600-900.

Of course, I've always got my eagle eyes on flight specials! :) They send me their email specials so I'm always in the know. And ocassionally, I'll price out airfare like 5 months in advance, incase I've got some spare PTO time I need to spend! :)

Last October, I found flight specials for 2010 tet for like less than 600 (with taxes) from Houston!! Too bad I didn't have any PTO or else I woulda jumped on it! If I knew my mom and dad were goin' back, I woulda bought the tickets for them as a birthday present!

KA is good, but the only problem is waiting time it too long. NOT very good for your SO.

I know what you mean, there are limited flights through KA from/to US and VN. More than likely, there'll be a delay/layover and your poor SO may get stranded. HOWEVER, if they're well travelled, they should be ok...
