I never said it was. I said, quite clearly that there is a difference between people who enjoy sex, want sex and have sex but while they are having sex care that that sex is mutually satisfactory within the confines of that encounter (whatever the parameters are) and people who have sex and have no interest in the arousal and satisfaction of the other partner. The first I can understand, the second seems completely emotionally stunted.

My thought on all that is this - it's women themselves that are responsible for the double standard.

Men aren't the ones who care if the girl they just met is a #######. Men don't care if you're 10 lbs. overweight and have bigger thighs than the girl on the cover of Redbook. Men don't care if you wear blue make-up or green make-up. But you do. You all care about each other and what she said about you or you said about her and who she told.

We don't. Stop blaming us for the double standard.

when a person is not married and not in an agreed to "mutally exclusive" relationship, then the number of partners you have is no one's business but your own. If I was not in a monogamous relationship I would use accepted prevention methods to prevent disease. Other wise, disease would have no bearing on what I do.
