I'm reviewing the n-400 application and the dates of residence and employment asks for a day/month/year. I can remember the month we moved to a prior residence 4 years ago but I don't think I have a copy of that lease any longer. I can recall we moved at the end of the month but the exact date I'm not sure of. The same is true for a job started in 2006, it was either the first or second week of Oct but can not recall the exact day of the month and there was no offer letter, just a phone call.

What if I can't recall the exact day? Can I put the month and year?

K1 Visa

June 15, 2005 - Submited I-129F

June 29, 2005 - Received NOA1

July 09, 2005 - Received NOA2

July 19, 2005 - Package 3

August 18, 2005 - Package 4 with the interview date (october 17, 2005 in Rio)

September 6, 2005 - Medical exam done

October 17, 2005 - Interview date APPROVED!!!

December 2, 2005 - Arrived in the U.S.

December 8, 2005 - MARRIED!!!

AOS

December 23, 2005 Sent completed forms for AOS

Jan 2006 - Checks cashed for AOS

Jan 06, 2006 - Received all 3 NOA's

Feb 16, 2006 - EAD and AP approved

Feb 24th, 2006 - Received AP in the mail

March 18th 2006 - Still no biometrics letter, made infopass

April 11th 2006 EAD Biometrics

April 18th 2006 Received EAD in the mail

May 10th 2006 AOS Biometrics after calling 800 number for 2 months, they claimed letter was returned undeliverable by the post office.

May 25th case transfered to California Service Center

June 5th case received by California Service Center

June 14th - Email that a Greencard was ordered (no interview)

June 17th - Welcome letter comes in the mail

June 19 2006 - Greencard arriives in the mail - WE ARE DONE!!!

Sept 2006 - Passed the road test

October 2006 - First job in U.S.

March 2008 - File I-751 - Biometrics taken

Naturalization

Every time you move, you need to submit an AR-11 Address Change form. Do you have that? if yes, then you can look it up and see what dates you specified on it.

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony
