Sigh....this whole process just feels as if it is dragging along. I recently left my husband in Canada and am in the US...missing him. Though it's easy and doable to turn around to go back, I have to remain here in order to ensure domicile is proved.

Without responses from MTL, and not knowing what the next 2 months or even possibly 6 months holds is very discouraging. Trying to do it the right way is also the difficult way.

Seems as if DCF's have been placed on stand still. I'm unsure why...MTL doesn't respond to emails and DOS continues to give me the same line: no interview is scheduled.

How much longer MTL?

I am so ready to begin our life together; have a home, a dog, a meal at the end of the day together and rolling over knowing we are beside one another as we sleep. Gosh what we take for granted.

This is a very long drawn out process...much to be thankful for I know. Just want to share it with my husband.

April 26, 2010 Packet 3 Request Arrives Canada Post, MTL # assigned

April 26, 2010 Overnighted Packet 3 Checklist and DS-230

April 28, 2010 Montreal Recieves Packet 3

July 21, 2010 left DH in Canada to prove domicile in USA :(

July 26, 2010 DOS contacted, Logged & Accepted, interview not yet scheduled

27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

26-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview date set (01SEP2017)

29-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview letter on hand

01-SEP-2017 -:- N400 interview date - Interview passed

10-OCT-2017-:- N400 oath ceremony letter on hand (oath on 26OCT2017)
