Requesting that Topics Be "Moved":

This may be a big deal or not, si man or no man.

When someone "reports" a topic purely to request that it be shifted into a more appropriate forum, is it really necessary to bug the Moderators? We have a gaggle of Organizers, after all, whose sole job may be to move topics.

Maybe the Mods can move topics in a flash with their eyes closed, but it seems to me that they naturally have many more complex issues on their plates to deal with than do the Orgs, si man.

Is it feasible, necessary, or desirable to have a parallel "report" button purely for the moving of topics, huh man, which might go to an Org rather than to a Mod?

if you have a fav organizer, you can leave some profile msg to move something (urls are the fastest, si,hermosa!! )

What 'we' can't do, though, is flush through a split, alas. Splits are fun.

VJ Organizers are at the ready to spot topics requiring movement and generally handle immediately. If that fails, Mods will handle it based on reports or chance observation.

Given the above, if sufficient time passes without action, escalate the issue to the report level; which will notify the Mod team for action.

It depends on how Ewok configured things. If they have access to the report center, it's a non-issue.

The report center is only for mods due to sensitive TOS issues; Orgs do not have access to general reports. I will have to think on how to improve things. Maybe a way to flag misplaced topics that can alert the orgs.
