I just received my NOA for my I129. I tried to add it to my account to track status. It's indicating that number is invalid. Anyone else have trouble adding their receipt? Or does it take a few days for them to actually process it so I can add it? Anyone?

give it a couple days. it is invalid cause the number is not in the computer system yet. Just give a day or two then try again.. it should work next time

take care

I received our NAO for K3 July 18 and I have never been able to track the petition. I called the service center and a rep told me to give it a couple more weeks. He says it will not show up in automated system until a human enters it into their system. He found the case and said it was processing. Next Friday will be 2 weeks since I spoke to him so I will give it another week and then call again.

I can check the status on our K1 CR1 petition but not the K3 with an MSC receipt number.

disheartening to think that no one has taken a few minutes to put our K3 petition into a computer somewhere so we could at least track it eh?

at least we are not alone, I've heard others complain about the same problem.

Well we our lawyer got the NOA1 for the 129 F around the 18-21 of July. Dont know what day exactly beacuse the weekend fell through and the lawyer was out of the office.Any how since then we had not been able to check the status online BUT today I did o a random check and it did actually accept it after weeks of trying. So that is good but on the down side I got this this notice on there and now im freaking out.

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by the post office on August 10, 2006. To update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Could it be that they were sending me a receipt notice also? Why would they send another one if they sent one to my lawyer a few weeks ago. Also maybe could this be them trying to send an RFE? What does the computer system say when they send and RFE does it say that they mailed you a "written notice " Any one please help. I want things to go smoothly. Any one who has the same time line as me should try checking their msc number to see if they are in the system now.
