the medicated oil is always a hit. so are salonpas

chocalate- you don't have to get the fancy expensive kind. get the bite size variety kind (easier to pass around).

Perfume- not to be a cheap #######, but get the imitation kind. (walgreens has some good knock-offs), or get the sprays from victoria secret.

Soap/shampoo/toothpaste- Dove/Panteen/Colgate

Liquor and smokes for the father in law. 555's are a hit.

i consider these non traditional but they would be cool.

Juicer- with the abundance of fruit and veggies

Blender- same premis

Seeds- there probably laws that forbid this but, scatter some seeds thoughout your stuff, they wouldn't give it a second thought. Sweet yellow corn, and roses come to mind. Maybe some habernero seeds.

Crocs- confortable and easy to put on as slippers

Dust Mop- the wide kind you sweep the gym floors with. You can probably clean a traditional living room in three swoops.

The Dyson fan. Expensive as heck, but the wow factor would be amazing. Plus you can never have too many fans in VN.

Wonderful and interest suggestions, guys. I am probably going get my father-in-law an XO. Medicated oil and American supplements are always a good idea.

My mother in law liked the money I gave her a lot.

We just are now sending another care package to her family with the usual over the counter stuff and apparently I have bought a bottle of perfume (Tabu) for her. Hope she likes it.

The XO seems to be mandatory for the father.

Also do not expect thank you's.

My parents-in-law are well off, so they do not need my money.

It is weird that did not notice that people don't say thank you when they get gifts. My family say thank you :)

The American style Eagle Oil is always a hit.

Multi-tools are good for men. You can get a small one at Wal Mart for about $15. If you chose to get one of these I would highly suggest Gerber or Leatherman. They're expensive, but built to last.

a great item for anyones carry on bag .....

Don't blame me if you get arrested! :D I did bring 10 of them when I came here though. That was a year and a half ago, but I don't think it would be a problem today. You may want to confirm that with the airline.
