Im just sorting the funds for this weeks shenanighans in London.

Now i know the Medical can be paid in cash £200 each

Can someone please clarify for me if i can pay the visa fee and courier fee with cash?

Just some posts i read say cash or card and others say card only. So which is it?

Also could someone clarify the cost of the visa fee and courier?

Plus i read everyone took two US sized pics to the interview. But on the Embassy site im sure i read 3. Has something changed recently?

Thanks

The visa is cash or card, the courier is card only.

I believe the 3 photos is because 2 for the embassy one for the medical. Hangover on the web site from the very old days when both were arranged by the Embassy and done the same day.

The cost not sure myself as too long ago when I did mine, but I bet it is on the US Embassy London web site.

Your timeline doesn't say what visa. You actually don't have a timeline.

K visa is $350

Applicants pay the fee to the Embassy cashier on the day of the visa interview. Fees may be paid in cash - sterling or dollar equivalent; by International Money Order or Bankers Draft; Credit Card - Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, Discover or American Express; or Debit Card with the Visa logo. The Embassy does not accept any other credit or debit cards, or personal checks.

Nonimmigant and Immigrant visa applicant who attend the Embassy in person for an interview with a consular officer will have their passports returned to them by DX Secure; there no other method of delivery available. The service can be purchased from a DX Secure representative at the Embassy on the day of the interview. Fees for this service begin at £14:50, payable by debit or credit card only.

Thanks for the replies all.

Im an old fuddy and usually only use cash. But looks like i have to get hip and do cash and card transactions while down there. Hoping i can use my daughters debit card for the courier. Since i dont own a card.

Sorry Nich aye it is K1 visa i was after. As for my timeline, me and computers dont get along too well, other than for basic things.

Plus all this fancy 007 codes and jargon in peoples timelines, I get confuzzled on what they are talking about. Honestly, dont think mine would look anywhere near as good as some of the nice ones i have seen :crying:

Funny! Confuzzled!

It's not so hard. Click here and do what #2 says to make a VJ timeline. http://www.visajourn...le.php?id=74281

It's just dates to flll in. And somewhere you say what kind of visa and VSC or CSC. It's not those fancy, glittery timelines with dancing girls and kittens, that people put at the end of their posts. For awhile I had sparkling red lips for the member photo because it was an inside joke between UK member Stinky Monkey and me. Anyway, no sparklies or purple fonts required to make a timeline. It helps people give you a better answer.

Hey, well done! That timeline ties into all the VJ stats and charts and estimated NOA approvals, so it's the important one. The other one is called your signature and is only there for show. Here's how to do it.

Top right corner has your name. Under it click "Settings."

Then back on the left in big type, you see "Your Options." Just below that click "Profile" tab.

Then in the left column you can "Change Profile Information." You want to pick "Change Signature."

Then you'll see "Your current signature." (blank on yours I guess) And below that "Edit Signature" box that looks like you're posting a forum thingy. Just start typing away whatever you want to appear. Change fonts and colors, underline, bold....whatever you want. Put your dates, your poetry,

.... or even a link to your blog :o
