You said, your age is 26 years. So, it crossed 21 years of age. So, when your father reach to USA, after they get USA citizenship (after 5 years), they can make petition file for you. Or. more easy is..(who made petition file for your parents ?). Ask your brother or sister (who made file for your parents) to make petition file for you. It will move faster. Otherwise, (after 5 years), when your parents gets citizen, and when they file for you, it will another 10 years time, to reach your visa call. (as per present timelines)

Hi Felizardo, my brother is on the same boat, my uncle filed for my mom(F4) their priority date is April 1, 1988, my brother's DOB is march 6,1987. I am their designated agent so I e-mailed NVC regarding possible CSPA case for him. They replied saying that the case is under review and will reply to me as soon as they make their decision, and they also said that there is no timeline for this. I have not submitted my parents DS-230 yet 'coz I am still waiting for my uncle's birth certificate from NSO. Once I got that I will send it to them so they can be scheduled for medical and interview soon. Who is your parents' agent? maybe you can ask that person to e-mail NVC in your behalf. The way I understand CSPA if you are qualified for a visa you have one year to file the DS 230 and other documents. I'm not sure if they will let you in during your parents interview as you are not part of the interview and you don't have any documentation for yourself.

he can go with his parents on their scheduled interview and inform the CO of his CSPA age...but i can see that he has less chance of being eligible for CSPA..their petition was filed long before and i assume it was approved for no less than a year based on other petitions filed on that same year..

Hi All. I also share the same sentiments. My family is also petition in F4 category for Philippines. Our PD is April 1, 1988. Initially, my younger brother (DOB 1988; not yet born when petitioned was filed) and I (DOB 1983) was included in the IV bill. After paying the IV bill, we send the ds-230 form and other civil documents to NVC. After a month, we received checklist cover letter where it mentioned missing 2x2 photo for my mom and dad only. My aunt called NVC and they said that we have already aged out. We were really confused because we thought that NVC does not provide IV bill for aged out derivatives since my 2 older siblings (still single) were not included in the IV bill but were included in the 1988 petition.

A few days ago, my parents received the appointment letter for interview next month. as expected, my brother and I are not included. So far, my aunt emailed NVC regarding our status. They did not even mentioned what will happen to the $800.00 we paid. We are still unsure of our next step...

The information you gave was not correct. The son who is 26 DOES NOT have to wait for his dad to become a us. citizen. I hope the OP is still around.... When your father gets to the USA he can file for you right away... (well when he get the GREEN CARD in the mail). As long as you ARE single he can g do it for you..!!!

The process would take 9-13 months... so just about 1 year for you to go to the USA...

**** Do not tell your brother to file for you... please... that's a waste of money..!!!!
