just want to know, in regards to Question 18. when writing about how we met, is it ok to have 3 pages? also, what is the proper closure? & what did you write down?

this all we need to do before sending it off. so please can anyone help?

I think 3 pages is a little too much. Mine was a short paragraph. The service center has to review hundreds of applications and I don't think they'd be too keen on reading so much for just one question. As far as closure, and what we wrote down, each person's story is different...so can't really help you there! I mean do you want to share how you 2 met? I'm sure plenty of us here can help you shorten it down a bit!

Yes, I agree. 3 pages would give way too much detail; your goal is to describe when/where/how you've met (provided the meeting's happened within the 2 last years). My fiance only wrote a short paragraph describing how we met online and how the relationship escalated from daily e-mails to our meeting in person.

i thought we had to write about every time we saw each other during the past 2 years.

will definitely have to cut it down.

so we just have to write down how we were introduced and then how our relationship progressed from there.

You can do that and add a very brief story of when/how/where you met (be sure to provide the evidence for each the meetings you mention on the description).

Use Q18 to describe in some detail of how you met in the required 2 year period that established the relationship, no need to go into anything too lengthy. I would say 1 page tops. The evidence you then submit should support those details. Boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel/credit card receipts, rental receipts if ever lived together etc etc are primary evidence. Photos are secondary which support the primary evidence. What you should be aiming for is creating an image in the minds eye of the adjudicator........strong selective evidence that along with the your response to Q18, completes a picture.
