Approved F2A case actions/interview scheduling (embassy in Ukraine)

Hi,

My parent who is a permanent resident filed an I-130 petition for me about a year ago and as I'm under 21, my category is F2A.

Currently the petition is still being processed by USCIS (the decision is expected any time now) and after that, if approved, it will be forwarded to NVC. Seeing the fast forward movement in VB cut-off dates, I'm hoping for the best and beginning to think about the next stage already. I'm pretty confused as to how things progress after the visa number is available and what actions I should take to schedule an interview following that.

After the USCIS approves the petition, it forwards it to NVC where it waits for the visa number. Then, when a visa number is available, NVC will contact me to collect the fee. Are there any forms/documents I should submit to NVC at this stage, apart from the fee?

But to go on, at some point, I will get a case number and an information packet, which I will use a) to go through a med. exam; b) to schedule an interview. Some sources claim that NVC will schedule an interview for me instead and I will not receive any information packet. So if anyone knows how these things go, please help.

Also, how long is the wait before an interview in case of the Ukrainian embassy?

Thank you kindly,

Oui
