K1 visa for filipino pinay, living abroad on a work visa, help please for new member

Hello Y'all

New member here but have been lurking for a couple months. Would like to say that this is a surprisingly wonderful forum (not too many of those around). It is wonderful to see so many happy, enthusiastic couples, and couples to be, helping each other out so generously.

Have read quite a few timelines and familiar with the usual process of getting a K1 visa. My new First mate though has been in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a work visa in the modern city of Dubai. Have seen a couple posts noting a certificate of non criminal history from the local police there, but have not seen a post for a timeline or process for filipino living abroad.

If someone could point me to a previous link or post that would be similar to what we need, it would be very much appreciated. We are fortunate that my girl can discontinue her stay in Dubai when ever she feels it is neccesary. Of course we want to postpone her quitting work as long as possible, because the extra income will help.

She is a hardworker and has lived abroad many years, as a lot of filipinos do. Since she has a good history of travel to foreign countrys, would it be possible for me to get her a Tourist Visa to come to the states on her Next Vacation break from work, which is in December.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Recently told my girl about VisaJourney so she may visit here too for the information.

my honey is a Filipina who is living and working in Kuala Lumpur and we just recently completed the Visa process. a few months ago some of her friends from the Phils were going to Las Vegas on a vacation and wanted her to come. I don't know if she would have been denied but since we had started the process we decided it would be better to just not try...

I could ask her if there are any specific issues that you should know about

Thank you for your reply, yes that is similar. Did she do her interview in the U.S. Embassy in Malaysia or in Manilla? That is one question I had. And if you got a appt in say Dubai, could you later change it to the embassy in Manilla to complete while on vacation there?

she did the interview in Malaysia, but she did have to fly to the Phils for things like her Cenomar and police records... things like that

I am sure she can have the interview in either location

We are in similar situation. My fiancee is on a working visa in Dubai. We met in the phil. and I just sent my packaged 2 weeks ago. Let see what we learn.
