Vermont seems to be very erratic lately - it's totally hit or miss whether it goes quickly. We sent ours on April 23 and there has been nothing at all - no RFE, no touch, nothing - since the NOA1 on April 27. It is extremely frustrating that there seems to be no correlation at all between when you sent your application and when they actually look at your case... Good luck.

I know your feeling. We sent our K-1 April 9th and the check was cashed April 12 and entered into the system. Status says Initial review and has not changed since. Radio Silence. No contact at all so we just sit and wait. Phone calls render nothing. As long as they are still within their proposed process time they basically just tell you how much time they have left to complete the review and make a decision. I read on the USCIS site they process the applications in the order they are received. I do not see that happening.

I'm at day 134 on a K-1 and there has been absolutely nothing. I never even got an official NOA1. I knew this was going to be frustrating, but the inconsistency is brutal.

I'm a VSC filer, and my NOA1 notice date is July 1. I just received my NOA2 in the mail today!! We were approved July 28, 27 days later.

However, I didn't get an email or a text, even though I'm signed up for both! So if you haven't heard yet, keep the faith...

WOW!!!!! Congratulations!! I wondered if there might be some of that lightning speed left over. I filed mine July 14th and was touched July 26 after a NOA1 of July 20th. It did cross my mind that they had approved it. It was a fleeting thought, crazy and out of nowhere; but you never know.

It's pretty encouraging to read other's experiences, isn't it?! I was really encouraged by other June/July VSC people. Thanks so much for your excitement for us! And I'm hoping that you have the best process possible!! And hold onto hope! Those fleeting thoughts, no matter how "crazy," can help keep you going.

Ok, one question for you - how did you put the touch on your timeline? I can't find where to add it! Mine was touched July 13 and 14, and I want to keep track of it.

Go to your profile. In the top right corner of the page, near your photo, click on settings. Under "Your Options" choose "Profile". Then on the right hand side select "Change Signature" scroll down to edit signature and write any information that you want.

I got to tell you it took me about 2 weeks to figure it out. I thought that it was automatically generated by the information that you posted in your timeline.
