What will this mean for the philippines and those of us with pending immigration from the philippines? Being that the philippines is a usa ally , and is not that far from north korea (in rocket shooting distance i'm sure) .

I would assume if things get worse that USCIS would expedite immigration for the surrounding areas, Japan, South Korea, Philippines ?

I wouldn't even worry about this, I don't see a war between the United States and North Korea happening soon. China and Russia which is North Koreas closest ally has already warned the North not to do anything. Don't let the media get to your head. Everyone wants peace. North Korea wants to be just left alone but as usual the United States has politicians sticking their noses where it doesn't belong.

It amazes me that the people and politicians in this country TRULY BELIEVE that everyone in the world would gladly overthrow their own governments and replace them with a Democracy. Lots of posturing but I don't see war there, just a lot of money changing hands.

Visa's wouldn't be sped up at all. If war broke out with North Korea it would probably slow the process down. Besides the Philippines asked the US military to leave the country--which we did not desire to do because of tensions on the Korean penisula and China's growing projection of power at sea. The two countries are not as close ally's as they once were.

Don't see anything happening with North Korea and if it does the US military needs to worry about South Korea and Japan--not the country(s) that kicked out their perfectly good free defense force and one of the largest contributors to its economy.
