- OKay HI everyone! Me and my american bf for year and half met last MAy- and went to other asian country for a trip. We were discussing 'bout K1 visa, and so that is our plan. That he will file for ME. Now, when we met- he had that form I-129F. And I filled out 2 forms. And also we had pics passport size each.. His plan was to file petition ahead once he got back to USA... But due to some personal matters that he was dealing there in USA.. Until now he didn't file, His plan will be nxt month or Sept.. My question is what will happen to the form that I filled out w/ all my info's.. ? When he is goin to file, nxt month or so, am I gonna fill out new form? The truth is just by reading all 'bout facts of K1- for me is kinda hard to digest. Pls tell me what are those things usually do by a person whom being petition by someone else... Thank you. Very much. By the way I am new here... and I really want this VJ site be part of me and my american bf's journey.

Every form used by USCIS has a form number. All the forms are numbered, I-130, I-864, etc., but they each have an official document number. You should check the one he has to see if it matches the one available for download now and any form you download in the future should come directly from the USCIS website to make sure it's the most current one. If you have delays in the future, just check that number to make sure your good :)
