I sent my RFE last wednesday, and for my surprise I got this message from USPS:

We attempted to deliver your item at 10:46 AM on July 23, 2010 in LEES SUMMIT, MO 64002 and a notice was left. You may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice, go to www.usps.com/redelivery, or call 800-ASK-USPS to arrange for redelivery. If this item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

WHAT THE HELL???

I am sure I sent to the right address... I am scared now... Is that normal??

Yes they will update the status of your package/mail when someone picks it up later today.

A USCIS agent comes once a day around 4:30pm to the post office and gets everything for that day.

I talked to the post office guy at Lee's Summit and he explained to me that USCIS specifically requested that all mail be scanned with that status you got earlier today.

I got the same thing and freaked out and called the post office myself.

It is because they are not allowed to actually deliver anything to the missouri service center building.

So that is just how every mail for MSC gets scanned.

Don't worry.. either tomorrow or monday you will get an update from USCIS saying that they received it and your case has resumed processing

I don't think they will update on saturday :bonk: , hahah!

Tomorrow is gonna be 1 week since they received my RFE... I called the USCIS and they told me to wait 15-20 days, if I dont hear anything from them I should call again :blink:
