Hello everyone:

I made an appointment with US consulate via online appointment web site (evisaforms.state.gov). Then, I decided to cancel my appointment, so; I cancel it in website by my confirmation ID and I got a confirmation page about this cancellation. However, when I reentered my appointment again in change/cancel page, my appointment detail have still been shown. It seems that it had not been canceled. I canceled again, then; I got same results. Please kindly some can tell me whether my appointment really canceled? when my appointment information will be deleted from the website. Thank you in advance.

I really freaked out, because I wanted to make an another appointment and I dont know whether it has been canceled or not.

Well if you provide the complete URL (address) of the cancellation page I may be able to tell you what's going on. Usually they have static html pages meaning someone typed in the appointments and

someone has to take them off manually. If it is a dynamic page where the system does everything real time(instantaneous) then there may be a problem with the site. I'd say still wait 24 hours and then check again.

Thank you for your helps, I pasted the final HTML here, please note that if you open it you would be directed to a page that you must first select the country and city of the desired embassy. then you can find cancel/change button that direct you to this HTML. It seems that they update pages manually. Please let me know what's going on?

check your browser setting to make sure you update pages every visit

I opened it with different browsers in different computers, but unfortunately; the problem is going on. Disappointing, I just wanted to make another appointment, however; I afraid of having multiple appointment. because I don't know my last appointment had really canceled or not. Thank you!

It would have been helpful if you included what consulate you're going to, I am assuming you are going to Dubai. Generally an email is

sent out for cancellations and appointment confirmations but not all consulates are the same. I suggest you find the consulate's web site, email then consulate directly and/or make a call to them to clarify your situation...Google the consulate and you'll find their web site.

Good luck!
