I am currently in chicago and my husband lives in Mangalore, India(where he works). i will be filing the I130 and sending in the G325a forms from chicago. However, my husband may very likely change apartments in Mangalore. however his parents have a permanent home in Kerala and the address there wont change. So, I wanted to find out how to make sure that all communication is sent to his parents address in Kerala since that won't change.

These are the sections in the forms which ask about address

I130-

Part C. Information about your relative, 1. Name and 2. address

19. Your relatives address abroad

G325a

Applicant's residence address last five years. List present address first

Applicant's employment last five years.

Kindly let me know!

Thanks

They will not send any correspondence to your husband at this stage. Only after your I130 petition is approved do they move on to evaluating and communicating with the alien relative.

Later on when the I130 is approved you have to fill out a form called the DS230 where you have to give full residence history, including the current address.

If your husband is about to change apartments you have 2 options

*Wait till he changes apartments and then fill out the G325a and I130 with the new address

*Fill in the current apartment address and send in the forms

If you want to get the forms out quickly you can just use the current address or apartment.

You should not really have to worry about his change of address after you file the I130. Because he is the beneficiary, you will be able to provide updated address information later on the DS230.

They won't send anything to beneficiary, except interview letter. (As noted : Now NVC sends interview letter via email too). I-130 approval takes 3.5 months right now, so DS-230 comes after that. In DS-230 you can provide the address where he stays currently, but if it changes after filing DS-230 you can contact NVC about the change of address, and than provide the address at that time.

But as i said, now they communicate via email, so it's more easy and convinient.

I was thinking in the I 130, I will put his parent's address since it's not asking for "residential" address. Cos I have heard of people using P.O boxes for all correspance to be sent and am guessing they put the P.O box address in the I130.

But in the G325, I will put his current residential address. Would that be alright, or the two conflicting addresses would create a problem?
