I don't see how I'm getting in the middle of the nutters... I can make a comment about how ridiculous one group of nutters position is without taking up the cause of another group of nutters.

I will say that when someone wants to present an argument in support of amnesty or against enforcing the current immigration laws at any level and they are simply parroting the "nutters' chorus" it's a good indication that they aren't worth my time to listen or respond to.

For anyone who says the current laws are unenforceable I say "Try it and show me how unenforceable they are".

For anyone who says the current laws won't fix the problem I say "Try it and show me how it made the problem worse".

For anyone who says the current laws are wrong I say "Show me how you would suggest fixing them".

Actually, I thought I minimized both groups as being just as extreme. The only distinction I made between them is that one side is standing on a platform based on an argument that doesn't hold water whereas the other is supporting enforcing current laws and in my opinion that makes them just a little less nutty. I never said that one side was anywhere in the realm of being meaningful to the actual debate, in fact I doubt either side could participate in an intelligent debate on the subject.

Maybe the reference point is what it is because you don't see them showing up anywhere else. That is enough for me to disregard them regardless of what they're saying, the actions speak louder than anyone shouting into a megaphone.

Let's face it the BBs arrived on the scene looking to incite the opposition not engage them in any real way. If the other guys were showing up at a BB demonstration and acted the same way then I'd say in that instance the other guys were being nuttier than the BBs. BTW, I'm not saying that the other guys don't do that, just that it's the BBs doing it in this instance. The balance of Nuttiness can swing either way.

This is one of those cases where you look at it laugh and say "Well I guess she's the Queen Nutter for now" but understand that the King/Queen Nutter title gets passed around a lot and while they may be entertaining to watch, I get bored of them quicker than a slinky!

Yeah but that's more to do with that large numbers are coming from Mexico and that's the hot topic right now. If there was somehow mass illegal immigration comming from the UK that wasn't being controlled people would get angry about that too, and because the skin colour is still white... imagine a bunch of illegal UK immigrants standing outside Home Depot waiting for work. They might get jumped on only when someone overheard their accent instead

The Cornish were getting very angry and defensive when members of the EU were allowed to settle freely, for some reason a large number of Poles came to stay. I heard from numerous different angry sources that they were getting help with councel housing before locals. It's very hard for Cornish people to get housing because the wages are low but unemployment and prices/house prices are high so there has been a lot of resentment, it could have been any group of people reguardless of colour you get the same thing...because locals are feeling negative effects from it.

Talking into a megaphone when someone is at arm's length is really obnoxious and I remember my ringing when they had phony "demonstrators" when I was in an Army exercise.

The woman wearing a brown shirt screaming about Nazis didn't seem to get the irony of the situation but she was hoping someone was going to swing on her with the cops standing nearby. Wading into the opposition and tauting them isn't smart and I wouldn't recommend an anti-illegal immigration advocate walk through a crowd of illegal advocates.

You might want to reconsider your opinion based on actual genetic evidence linking most latino populations to indigenous roots.

Even those that seem to be mostly European.

Then again, considering why Spanish is the lingua franca of most latino populations, head to a decent history book. No self-hating there, and none needed either.
