Should We E-File For Employment Authorization

My fiancee entered the US on a K-1 visa April 24, 2010 and we married July 4, 2010. We are about to file the petition for residency (form I-485) and want to submit the form I-765 for employment authorization for her. I see that she is eligible to e-file or she can submit the I-765 with the I-485. Is there any advantage for electronically filing the I-765 such as getting permission to work much faster? If not, then I think we will just mail them in together.

Yes you could e-file for but you will need to wait until you have received the NOA1 for your AOS. I think the e-filing is mainly used for people who are renewing their EAD. You won't get it approved any faster then if you mail it with you AOS.

11/09/2010 - Interview-APPROVED! 112 days

11/09/2010 - Card Production 11/22/2010 - Green Card received

08/11/2012 - Eligible to file for ROC10/11/2012 - sent in I-751 (late)10/16/2012 - received NOA 11/20/2012 - biometrics

Be careful or you may end up paying for the EAD that is normally free (fee waived) when sent in with AOS.
