our NOA2 was Aug 1. it's about 2 weeks now since then. i spoke with someone at NVC and they said our case wasn't in their system yet. but i was touched on August 7.

i don't know what's going on there...

I'm confused. Your timeline indicates that they have your case at NVC?

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

yeah.

sorry, i forgot to update here... i called about an hour later and the operator i got told me our case was in the system and that they received it on August 11. it hasn't been passed on to the consulate yet though. they gave me the usual "2-4 weeks delivery time to the consulate". oh, and no letter yet regarding their receipt our case.

It can take up to 30 days, or it can take longer if you're unlucky. My I129F petition was approved December 26, and the NVC still hasn't received it. I've read about a handful of people who have had longer waits. Hopefully you won't be as unlucky as us.
