I K1 Visa petition has been approved by USCIS Service Center in Vermont, and has been forwarded to NVC and Now my K1 petition package is on its way to Manila and I have also obtained the Manila number. My question is I understand I need to send the I 134 forms along with my fiancial documents from the bank, letter head from my employer, copies of W2's and 1040 form latest tax statements. What I dont understand is I have seen several comments about having to send a complete copy of my original petition to my fiance! Is this necessary. I dont have the original. all i have is the copy I made! If my original petition is being forwarded to Manila they will have all the information about your meeting, letter of intent, photo's phone records etc. Why do I have to send another completed copy to my finacee? Please can somebody tell me if this will be necessary!

Thank you!

In my experience copies of the fiancée petition is not required during the interview.

I -134 forms along with your financial documents like bank statements, employment letter, pay stubs, W2's and income tax returns are very necessary.

Good luck.

Same here..we just got our NOA2 hardcopy recently..It states there that our petition has been forwarded to NVC..we are still waiting if our petition has been forwarded already in the embassy(manila)..as for the ones you will send to your fiancee here in the Phil, from what i have read,i'ts not necesarry to send her the complete copy of your petition..if ever she already had copies of your Evidences of genuine relationship and metting in person, what's important is the Affidavit of support form134,employment letter,W2's and recent ITR that your fiancee should have for her interview....as for me, I don't have the copies of emails, etc and evidences of our relationship and meeting(when he visited me here in Phil),so my fiance needs to send me copies of those together with the ITR,W2's, Form134 and employment letter..just to be safe too in case we lost some documents,my fiance made a duplication of the documents included in I-29F before he filed it..we are still waiting for news regarding our petition..may God bless us on our journey!!...:)

Hello April I have another question. Will I recieve a notification from Manila requesting me to sene my I 134 documents and forms to them? Or do I need to send all the forms and documents to my finacee? Please advise me thank you again!..... Randall

No you won't receive notification requesting I-134 documents.

The documents needed for the K1 interview is listed here.

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf

You should send your complete I-134 documents to your fiancée.
