In MA, we don't have any of those awful ones. Just small-medium garden ones. Much better than the huge hairy ones.

black widows and brown recluse! I hate them! That and tornadoes but that's a whole `nother story.

I had a damn brown recluse crawl on my face the other day, I think it dropped on my head from the cooker hood. I was paranoid and itchy for a good week or so afterwards and it didn't do much for my hypnagogic hallucinations either lol

You are lucky - these spiders are not very big but they bite! I do remember those big hairy ones from the UK, they look so dangerous and yet, they are harmless. I'm not really that bothered by spiders - I prefer them to flies
