Ah well, I am still happy to have been approved but I am not enjoying the wait period to receive back the passport and the package! [sigh] I am really hoping it doesn't take too long. I want to resign my job so I can go join my husband! Jeez!

I am in the same boat. My wife was conditionally approved on July 8, she turned in the last docs on monday the 12th. Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn embassy, this should be the easiest, simplest and most straightforward part, but again, more waiting,,,,,, uggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I wish you all the best with your journey! Jamaica "no problem" huh? Well, let me see how long nuh! LOL Yes I was surprised how quickly everything went. Now I just can't wait for the passport. You would think that after going through the waiting game with the USCIS and NVC that the the one with the Jamaican Embassy woud be more accepting. LOL! I will let you all know how long it takes. DHL's website tracking says "package on hold" LOL

I emailed the emabsssy in Jamaica and they e-mailed me back Monday and told me my husband can pick up his passport Wednesday, but he picked it up Tuesday, have you tracked it on the DHL website.

I have been checking that DHL Website every hour. LOL. It still says shipment on hold. I had called the operator at DHL 7/21 and she said they didn't receive the passport package as yet. Oh boy, so it looks like I have to wait until next Wednesday to resign (if I benchmark your timeline for receiving the package). I want my passport!!! grhhhrrrrrrrrrrrrrh. LOL. Good thing is I am still enjoying my husband being here for another full week. Yupee!!! :dance::thumbs:

Package received today. :rofl::wow: Arrived at DHL facility on 7/22 at 7:19pm. Visa was printed on 7/21. I was so elated that I was at the office at 8:45am (they open at 8:30am) to pick it up. I can finally hand in my resignation letter today. Yeah :dance::rofl:
