Hi everyone,

Hope you all are doing well...Just thought I would ask a question I had, though not really to do with visas. Since my husband will be in the military now and I am planning to return home in a few days, I was wondering if anyone had ever booked a roun-trip ticket with a no return date...that way when we both had a holiday, I could fly back to see him for a few days. Does anyone know if a no return date ticket is expensive? Thanks =kristy

yes, Kristy...... they are generally more expensive to have an open return date. Perhaps w/ all the recent events, tho, there may be some airline price wars which will allow you to get a cheaper ticket? I wish you the best....

kristy i flew on open tickets every time...it really isnt that much more expensive....about 150$ but be careful cause most airlines open tickets expire after 4 months or so...

it was a long time ago i looked at these.... but i do remember my open return was w/in a year's time, but it seemed like it was more of a difference than that... but again, it was *many* years ago.
