Hey! Just wondering what the biometrics experience is like. I have a 1 year old that HAS to come with me. Are they going to be mad? Will it be awkward? What is this facility in NYC like?

The letter says they have limited space in their waiting room, so I was thinking I'd try to go without the stroller and just have her on my lap, but I'm not sure if that will make the fingerprinting impossible (since I will have to hold her).

Any advice?

When i went to biometrics there was a woman with a tiny tiny baby there, as well as a 4 year old. They let her husband come in too so he could watch the baby for her when she went in the other room for finger printing. The office i went to was really small and not alot of room but there was hardly anyone there that day.

The finger print room is small, a seprate room with a couple of big finger printing machines. they take the prints a few times from each finger to make sure they get good prints off them. They take a photo with a webcam. No one else is allowed into the room when you go in as far as I know from where I went to they didnt allow it.
