To be on the safe side, we're using a co-sponsor with the financial support aspect of our application. We're currently waiting on our packet 4 with our interview date, so we DO see the light at the end of the tunnel! Last stages of double checking, and making sure we have everything we need.

What evidence do we need to gather from our co-sponsor? We have:

- statement from the co-sponsors bank showing balance and deposits for the last year

- statement work stating full time position, salary, hours, etc...

- I-134 affidavit of support filled out

Do we need anything else? Please if possible, give a list of all documents needed? I've tried searching and can't really find anything specific?

Do we need her W2's? Do we need to prove the co-sponsors domicile? Like residence rent/ownership, power bills, etc...?

Thanks in advance everyone!

I know this is jumping ahead, but take a look at the instructions for the I-864, which is the form you will be using for AOS. Those instructions are a good guideline for filling out the I-134.

You may want to ask your cosponsor for a copy of their 2009 tax return. It is best to order the tax transcript from the IRS, as you will need it later (for AOS), and it is considered a more reliable source for USCIS. It's free and they are normally sent to your address rather quickly.
