You are shooting from the hip with no facts. What does BP say - have you asked them ?

BP admits it. But it is a non-issue. They filled some empty space in a photo of the command center with some actual photos. There was no attempt to "mis-lead", exactly WHAT would have been misleading? It is not a true and accurate photo of the command center at the moment the photo was taken. So what? Poor RSN, mislead about what the inside of the BP command center looks like. Get over it.

On the other hand...misleading people that the well has been capped is another thing, but no one is complaining about that.

The 40 pelicans will have been replaced and the miracle of nature that is is microbes eating the oil will become the object of wonder

The people in that area need seafood sales and they need tourists and they need BP to stay and drill and they need BP dividends for their pensions.

There is plenty of motive there to say everything is wonderful now and you can see it already on tourist adverts - come on down everything is wonderful. They are trying to have it as the greatest ecological disaster and saying the seafood and beaches are great at the same time. Talk about deception - talk about that. Somebody has to be lying.

Yesterday I got quite shirty as I had a root canal scheduled for this morning - (I said to the dentist 'great you have capped the well') - plus there are two things that really get to me - 'bullying' and 'piling on'. I guess it's hard to claim that a company the size of BP can be bullied, but the 'piling on' is certainly a factor.

I suspect that the people who do that are the same people who throw bricks through the windows of banks where the G8 is held. Students in their nutty phase and anarchist and haters of big business. In this case there are probably a few extreme Nationalists too who don't even realise that BP is as much an American company as it is British.

There are plenty of big businesses that I am not keen on - Walmart for one; but I think BP is one of the best run big companies in the world and they have their pick of people wanting to work for them as it's known as being extremely 'well managed' (no pun intended).

Talk about Walmart instead - 'Do you love WALMART ' if you hesitate you are fired. Now there is a company worth attacking.

True. But not because of any scienific reason good or bad. Because Obama is President. It works like this...

You do not need to elect someone that can really solve problems, you just need to elect someone that the media will not attack and blame for problems and the "problems" go away. The Iraq war, the Afghanistan war, Gitmo, Abu Grabe, recession, unemployment...all fade away. The oil spill was lucky to make it to page 23. Today we are hearing about another oil spill, not nearly so bad, in China.

I just can't believe that people are buying into the reports that the problem is solved.

As far as all these other things are concerned, I think the politicians in all parties in both countries are corrupt liars.

As far as this Libya thing is concerned, I remember when I was a coroner's officer, the body of a Brit (a secret agent) came back from South America. The secret service spoke to the coroner and the guy was certified as having died from a heart attack despite the fact that he had FIVE bullet holes in his back ! So this Libyan prisoner release being corrupt was something I spotted before it happened.

All the govs are corrupt - and the coroners and the doctors who certify terminal illness - the whole lot - and the US will be torturing prisoners right now despite the Obama decree.

We are told lies, lies and more lies by ALL of them on both sides. I am not a conspiracy theorist but I happen to know how it works. Inquests are fixed in a back room before the inquests are held and the Police and experts agree what will be said. If a suicide is a Catholic, the verdict of the coroner is 'accident' etc to placate the family and so they don't go to hell. I have seen and heard these things planned in advance in back rooms.

We don't stand a chance.
