Nothing wrong with watching whatever one likes - although personally I find all the news networks on TV get caught up in emotional invective rather than adopting a more neutral stance - seems that's what the public likes - they all do the 'you'll never guess what XXXX said/did' and all the other drivel. Personally, I find it insulting, I can work out for myself what to think about a story.

Seriously now... if you have the time to sit in front of the TV for hours on end every day, and feel convinced by pre-packaged opinions from pundits and at the same time refuse to open a history book to refresh your memory from high school (at the least), then perhaps you have a problem.

I can't remember if I did... I've been watching lots of TV lately.

Although there are several articles linking diversified intellectual pursuits (reading, computation, critical thinking exercise) and physical exercise activities, with the amelioration of senile dementia and AD symptoms. Food for thought there.

I think the point here is that the handling of this story by the networks was atrocious and propagandist.

People love to harp on the merits of one network over another, but the truth is that two sides of a sh!t story makes a sh!t sandwich, and anyone who bought into the angle peddled by the media ate every bite.
