In the UK they are titbits and there was a magazine called that until 1989 - it's like showbiz gossip - but the pilgrims over here say tidbits coz they are scared of seeing nipples (Janet Jackson etc) and titbits would make em blush and die with embarrassment

I was hauled over the coals for adding a few dozen more wives without informing Elmo but we are all serene now. She will furnish a full report of her movements on Monday I hope so we know there has been no hanky panky or breaking of the harem rules which forbid more than one love interest on the side (at a time).

Well, "VW" is short for "Virtual Wife", the nome de plume I posted under until my hubby arrived. Also, I don't normally refer to her as Cleo. Most of the time I use "PH" for her former handle, Purple Hibicus". Some names just stick, even after they're gone.

I make educated guesses about people. You stated that the British press is all 'left wing leaning, like NPR' If that doesn't betray ignorance of British media, I don't know what does. Everything I say about you is my opinion VW. You may well be all the things you claim to be and more, but I personally doubt it. Most rich and educated people don't feel the need to boast about it - they are too self assured about their position to worry about telling the world how rich they are or how many degrees they have.. Why do you feel the need to make these big claims about yourself? Who do you think really cares? Either what you type stands up on its own merits, or it does not and most of the time what you post is so partisan it is just impossible to believe that you have the qualifications you lay claim to.

The rest is just fluff, I don't spend 'inordinate amounts of time' on VJ, nor do I hate everyone, pick on everyone or even post in response to all the many posts you make (which you must make extremely quickly in order not to be accused of 'spending an improper amount of time on VJ') - nor do I 'attend to' my SO, he's a husband not a pet and none of my friends or colleges are sick of me but you'll have to take my word on all that because I don't intend to validate my statements to you, that would be just too childish for words - take it or leave it - it's all the same to me.

Perhaps you should start reporting my posts if you find them so insulting? Either that or go back to ignoring them - either way is fine by me.
