David Cameron was on TV last night announcing his plans for "The Big Society". I'm still not really the wiser as to what it is he proposes to do, and I haven't decided it whether he's suggesting privatisation or if he's just trying to shift the blame and spinning funding cuts from charities and public services and that if they fail, it be because of Joe Public not doing his bit.

There's a bit on youtube where Armando Ianucci contrasted footage of Blair and Cameron and you can see that Cameron is actually trying to emulate Blair, right down to the soundbites he used during "New Labour".

I'm starting to wish that Peter Mandelson was Prime Minister. At least everyone knows that he is a complete #######.
