We are doing AOS for myself and my daughter. The question is does she need a ead or will it be issued with the aos?

Also another question does the aos come with a ssn or do you apply for this separately for both the k3 and k4 visa's?

Feb. 15/ 07 --- GC approved

Nov. 17/09 -- I-751 sent (Day 1)

Only you can answer whether your daughter needs an EAD. Is she old enough to work? Does she want to? You haven't provided enough information.

However, the EAD is applied for separately from the AOS. The AOS must be applied for first.

*Unless you need your daughter's SSN bad then you have to apply for her EAD in order for her to get SSN but if you can wait until you recieve her GC then she don't need EAD. It is only needed to apply SSN and work authorization.

*AOS is for your GC once you get the I-551 stamp or got your GC you need to go to your local SS office to apply for your SSN.
