My SO is on the train to Guangzhou as i write this. I am so disappointed i can't be with her right now. I know she needs me so much. Anyway, i know this week will be nerve-wracking for both of us, of course i'll be doing my best to keep her calm and collected.

I want to make sure her documents are in good order so she gets in smoothly and doesn't stress out. I'm pretty confident she knows the forms and what they're each about.

I've read several Guangzhou reviews and shared them with my SO. I understand when they walk in and go to the 5th floor etc, they are given a number, and are asked for the documents. I'd like to know opinions from you experienced GUZ filers, here is what my fiancee's file looks like when she goes into the consulate on the 26th.

We have these documents handy and apart from the rest of her binder ready to hand in before her interview:

Visa fee receipt, P4 forms (DS156, DS156K, DS157, GNI2, Certification of Legal capacity and intent to marry), Notarized/translated police, birth, and unmarried certifications, my I-134 with tax return, paystubs, w-2s and employer letter, passport and/or copy of bio page along with passport photos (she will also include any medical paperwork resulting from her exam on Friday here?)

The rest of her binder holds a notarized EOR letter from me for the VO which she will hand him first thing, evidence (photos, IM, video chat screenshots, phone call logs, handwritten letters, remittances of money, gift receipts, engagement ring receipt, etc.) and duplicate copies of i-134 and financials in case they're needed, proof of my residency... i think that's about it.

I guess i'd like to know if the first set of documents i noted above will all be the ones asked for before seeing the VO. Also will she be handing in her passport and the passport photos or giving them to the VO during the interview? Does she turn in the I-134 in that first hand in or give it to the VO?

I appreciate any input, please wish us luck.

Your list sounds complete !!!

I would only give one word of warning, though -

and that's about the thickness of any binder - try to get it down to 1 to 1.5 inches - as the 'pass-through-slot' isn't so deep. Make sure is FLEXIBLE BINDER, as well - if so stiff, hard, difficult to pass through that slot.

re: documents and forms. There IS a document screener, to collect things - I can't recall exactly what is collected with the screener, vs what is collected by the VO.
