This little incident is particularly annoying to me, because on my first arrival at

Bangkok a few years ago I was helped very kindly by an airport security lady

who called my now wife on her cell phone (with no charge).

My wife landed in JFK this weekend and her cell battery was dead.

She asked the security guy and he let her call me but then he charged her $5.

I don't know if this is routine or should I complain to the JFK authority

or the FAA or whatever. People say, this is New York & sounds routine

to me but he could have directed her to a public pay phone (I assume

those things still exist in airports and that they can't be used to set off

explosives). I have his number on my cell phone so he can be tracec

Anybody?

If it was a TSA security guy, by all means, pursue it.

Otherwise - hey - tips are tips..

If it was a TSA security guy, by all means, pursue it.

Otherwise - hey - tips are tips..

I just made an online complaint with the TSA, saying I wasn't sure if it was

a TSA person and provided his number to them.
