Just the other day I was this amazing video of airplanes landing on a windy day. They literally land perpendicular to the runway, so strong the winds, and so perfectly that I bet people inside don't even notice!

I'm not afraid either, and I actually think, I only see like one crash every 6 months, and the one for this semester just took place. :P I know, bad joke when so many died. Sorry.

But it's true, flying doesn't bother me at all and I think airplanes are the safest way to travel, but I always get anxious but not 'cus of flying, but 'cus I get anxious whenever I have to take a trip, any trip.

I though I had already said this too but I haven't! I'm not trying to steal you thunder Laura... hehe... but David found us a house too!!!!!! :dance: It's a small one bedroom house too, but it's perfect for us and I'm so happy.... everything feels so right you know!

Laura, you probably feel just like I do right now.... like your first house with the love of your life! It's very exciting and romantic in a way! :luv:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

hehe Yeah it's an amazing feeling!! David and I lived together before, but never in our own house, by ourselves. But that is gonna be just ours you know... my living room, my bedroom, my house. I love the idea of him coming home from work everyday and actually having our home to come back to. It's the first big step or symbol towards forming our family and our life together, and it means the world to me. :P

Congratulations on your new home!! It´s such a wonderful feeling, isn´t it? It´s amazing to start your married life in your own place!! I find it really special!!! I know how it is....Dinho and I just bought our first home in June...a month before I had to leave to Brazil to get my visa.
