The Prius is pretty sexy. However, not having your own car in middle America... impossible. Shoulda had that since she got here, IMO. Charles, where's your sense of romance?

We live in the city so we only need one, which he uses. We have a pretty extensive bus system here and we live only a block from most things we'd need (3 grocery stores inc. organic, movie theaters, stores of all types, coffee shops, etc.) My understanding is that not only do you not live in area like that, but that there in't an area like that in Kansas/Kansas City except maaaybe westport sort of

we've got a car and a truck right now, just looking at getting her own vehicle, i know she'll be happy to own her own car once again.

Whem I came back from my vacation in Brazil this past January, Chris had purchased a Honda Civic just like the one I drove in Sao Paulo, installed a new stereo, and left it all ready for me, it was the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me and I will never forget it!

I don't like the Prius myself, I think it's ugly, but it does get good gas mileage.

Alex, very funny your comment about being 52 and the greencard thing, I don't think anyone would take it seriously but in this day and age, I guess you never know.

Nessa, parabéns, menina! adorei ver o post da música da Xuxa, nossa, quanto tempo eu não pensava naquela música! e o vídeo do You Tube muito bom também!

07/16/2006 - We got married in Reno, Nevada.

USCIS:

08/13/2006 - Filed for AOS, AP, EAD - they were VERY carefully packaged with a detailed cover sheet on top of each of the forms, just as VJ's instructions recommend. It was A LOT of work, but it did pay off! (we firmly believe this is what sped up our process big time)

08/31/2006 - Biometrics appointment

09/09/2006 - Received my AOS appointment date!

10/26/2006 - EAD touched and AP APPROVED!

10/27/2006 - AOS appointment at 7:30 AM! APPROVED IN EXACTLY 70 DAYS!!!

11/01/2006 - EAD approved

11/02/2006 - Email notification - greencard will be mailed as soon as it is ready! YAY again!

11/02/2006 - Welcome to the United States of America letter in the mail! Almost there! =)

11/06/2006 - EAD card and White card (a.k.a. greencard) arrive in the mail!

Journey Total Duration: 80 days

Filed for removal of conditions on 07-28-2008 and had them removed on 09-10-2008
