ok it is official, ontem eu consegui um emprego, permanent position. I didn't say anything because I wanted to be 100% sure. Eu ja tirei fingerprints, estou fazendo meu background e talz e quinta-feira eu mudo meu status de housewife para army employee :D

There is light in the end of the tunnel, people. Eu consegui o emprego no lugar que eu sonhava, ou seja, no Fort e os dias, horarios de trabalho, beneficios, salario, tudo e perfeito. Meu, muita sorte mesmo. Estou muito feliz. :D :D :D

Boa sorte para todas que estao na procura, lembrem-se, if I can do it, so can you!!

Eu hoje tenho o dia de folga, então vou aproveitar para pintar o novo banheiro. Vou fazer uma surpresa para o Chris, quando ele chegar vai estar prontinho, hehe.

Liszy e Laura, acho que com bons argumentos a gente sempre acaba demonstrando que temos razão. A RH realmente me pareceu bem sem graça por causa da demora, mas ela falou que isso é uma prática comum aqui. Eu disse que até pode ser, mas que a impressão que eu como estrangeira tenho, é que no geral as pessoas aqui são bem educadas, e que portanto não custaria muito dar um feedback para candidatos que chegaram à última fase. O fato de não ter conseguido a vaga não me incomoda, o que me deixou possessa foi me esquecerem no vácuo, como se eu nunca tivesse ido lá. Pelo menos este espinho eu tirei da gargante, hehe, continuo "desempregada" mas aliviada.

07/16/2006 - We got married in Reno, Nevada.

USCIS:

08/13/2006 - Filed for AOS, AP, EAD - they were VERY carefully packaged with a detailed cover sheet on top of each of the forms, just as VJ's instructions recommend. It was A LOT of work, but it did pay off! (we firmly believe this is what sped up our process big time)

08/31/2006 - Biometrics appointment

09/09/2006 - Received my AOS appointment date!

10/26/2006 - EAD touched and AP APPROVED!

10/27/2006 - AOS appointment at 7:30 AM! APPROVED IN EXACTLY 70 DAYS!!!

11/01/2006 - EAD approved

11/02/2006 - Email notification - greencard will be mailed as soon as it is ready! YAY again!

11/02/2006 - Welcome to the United States of America letter in the mail! Almost there! =)

11/06/2006 - EAD card and White card (a.k.a. greencard) arrive in the mail!

Journey Total Duration: 80 days

Filed for removal of conditions on 07-28-2008 and had them removed on 09-10-2008

Vanessa, acho que você está certíssima. Acho que se você é chamado para uma entrevista, tem que ser comunicado de alguma maneira se não for escolhido. É o mínimo que eles tem que fazer. Nem que seja por carta!! Tenho certeza que algo vai aparecer em breve prá você!
