My story:

09/23/2002 - Met Chris online, there was something very special about this guy =0)

07/16/2006 - We got married in Reno, Nevada.

USCIS:

08/13/2006 - Filed for AOS, AP, EAD - they were VERY carefully packaged with a detailed cover sheet on top of each of the forms, just as VJ's instructions recommend. It was A LOT of work, but it did pay off! (we firmly believe this is what sped up our process big time)

08/31/2006 - Biometrics appointment

09/09/2006 - Received my AOS appointment date!

10/26/2006 - EAD touched and AP APPROVED!

10/27/2006 - AOS appointment at 7:30 AM! APPROVED IN EXACTLY 70 DAYS!!!

11/01/2006 - EAD approved

11/02/2006 - Email notification - greencard will be mailed as soon as it is ready! YAY again!

11/02/2006 - Welcome to the United States of America letter in the mail! Almost there! =)

11/06/2006 - EAD card and White card (a.k.a. greencard) arrive in the mail!

Journey Total Duration: 80 days

Filed for removal of conditions on 07-28-2008 and had them removed on 09-10-2008

Hoje de manha fui ate o SSN tentar pegar um cartao com meu nome de casada e que lindo quando descobri que o meu nome do green card ainda nao esta no sistema.. dang it.. gotta wait another 2 weeks.. sigh

Actually, dear.. o que eu recebi nao foi EAD.. foi o Green Card.. a Nessa recebeu EAD.. mas no meu caso demorou o que.. uns 10 dias para o gc chegar

March 05 - meaning march 5th, that's because I keep mixing english with portuguese, so march was in english and 05 portuguese, cuz if i was saying in portuguese I'd say marco 05 (not marco, I'm at the library they don't have acentuacao aqui) :P

Oi meninas, desculpe o sumiço.....ando sem tempo de postar, mas sempre passo por aqui e leio os posts, mesmo que atrasada!!!

Vim aqui mesmo, para dizer que depois de toda aquela confusão, da imigração ter perdido meus exames médicos e eu ter que fazer tudo de novo e gastar a maior grana, hoje recebi a noticia que meu greencard foi aprovado!!! :dance:

Boa sorte para quem ainda esta esperando e para quem já tem o seu, na procura por um emprego!!!!

Bom dia, Alex and brasileiros/brasileiras/abrasileirados =)

Hoje trabalho o dia todo, então tenham todos um bom dia. Falando de EAD, parabéns ao Reynaldo pelo email avisando do envio, deve chegar em poucos dias (eles dizem 10 mas pelo visto sempre chega antes). O meu GC chegou antes do meu EAD e do AP, foi engraçado e frustrante, pois a gente pagou caro por aquele AP...já o meu SSN demorou mais de dois meses, mas não estresse porque aqui na California demora mesmo. A carteira de motorista levou mais de 3 meses pra chegar. Agora pra eu ficar feliz 100% só falta um emprego bacana, não esse chato na Target. Falando nisso, tenho que ir porque tá na hora de ir trabalhar. E hoje são 9 horas...
